Pors Poulan beach is the closest at Plozevet, just a 5 minute drive from the campsite, However there are numerous glorious beaches to choose from.

Whether its picturesque rocky coves at Pors Peron or large sandy beaches ideal for surfers at Penhors, there are enough to keep you busy throughout your stay.

Kids will love playing in the rock pools & for the more adventurous there are a number of Surf / Sailing schools to choose from.

Quimper

The medieval capital of the region is Quimper only 15 mins from the campsite. A beautiful city full of narrow cobbled streets and half timbered houses.

Here you can spend time shopping in the local market, eating in one of the many restuarants or visit the magnificent ancient cathedral in the city’s central square. Within 30mins of Camping Bel Air there are a number of typical Breton attractions including the famous town of Locronan, walled city of Concarneau and fishing ports of Audierne, Douarnenez & Benodet.

Activities

For the more energetic there are a number of activities to keep you occupied. From cycling through the beautiful Brittany countyside to kayaking up the river Goyen. We are able to supply information on bike / kayak hire, horse riding in one of the local equestrian centres as well as near by golf courses.

For nature lovers why not visit the Pointe du Raz, France’s most westernly tip. This wild and rocky place is now a conservation area, great for walking. Closer to home there are 4 local walks from 1 – 10 kms.

A great day out can be spent at Brittany’s top tourist attraction, Oceanopolis where you can watch and learn about the World’s oceans. Near to Camping Bel Air at Audierne there is also an Aquarium and Wild Life Centre. The Children will be fascinated by the live bird show.

With Brittany’s association with the sea there is the Living Boat Museum at Douarnenez where you are free to roam on a number of ships as well as learn about boat building. If seafood is your thing, then why not also visit the working port of Guilvinec and see the live catches being unloaded daily, then visit the fish auction where you can purchase the best fish, caught fresh from the sea!
