About Us
Getaway 2 France is owned and managed by Adele & Colin Abel. Originally from the UK we moved to France in 2002 and set up a new mobile home/ static caravan sales and rental business based on Camping Bel Air Holiday Park in Brittany.
The decision to be based on Bel Air was simple. It is a beautiful, well managed campsite, which is ideal for family holidays and benefits from a unique feature in the FREE on site leisure park. As we live locally, our love and knowledge of this area gives us an advantage when promoting both our business and this fantastic region of France. We took the decision at the very beginning to immerse ourselves within the local community and therefore are happy to pass on our local knowledge to our customers during their stay.
By simply offering good quality accommodation in beautiful surroundings and at affordable prices, our customer base has continued to grow. We are especially grateful to the many repeat customers who have supported us over the last few years. This has enabled us to continuously re-invest in our business. The end aim is not to "take over the world" but to continue to manage the business personally and thus giving you, the customer, a better level of service. On the homepage of this website we state, "As a family run business we are large enough to accommodate your needs but small enough to care", we genuinely believe this to be the case and are on-hand throughout your stay to give help, advice and offer any assistance you may need.
